Built and taught "Theories of Communication," a broad, multidisciplinary seminar on contemporary perspectives on information theory and communication. Topics include: definitions, models and theories of information, history of media change, cross-cultural communication, interpersonal communication, critical pedagogy and the nature and consequences of new mass media in formal educational environments. Highest rated course in the department for 7 years.

Built and taught "History of Communication," a required course covering the development of the dominant modes of transmitting knowledge, from speaking to writing, printing and up to the emergent uses of digital media as the predominant mode of contemporary communication worldwide. Designed and led professional development training in partnership with G-PAC (Policy, Advocacy, and Civil Society Development in Georgia) with a grant from USAID to train Georgian public policy educators in "21st Century Teaching and Learning" practices and technologies.
Budapest Centre for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities, Budapest, Hungary (2014-2015)
Over a two-year period, trained officials representing Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, Interior, and Justice on location in Budapest, Bratislava, Prague, and Warsaw in theory and pragmatic policy related to the early warning and prevention of identity-based political violence including mass killing and genocide.
Dynamical Systems Theory Innovation Lab, Earth Institute, Columbia University, NY, NY (2011-2013)
Education Consultant for the DST Innovation Lab, an organization that brings 40 of the world's leading scholar-practitioners working with complexity science, conflict and peace to share leading-edge ideas, methods and practices in order to inspire and support collaborative work, and increase the utility of dynamical systems theory in direct conflict work.
US State Department International Visitors Program (2010)
Contract to train lawmakers from the DR Congo in pragmatic policy decision making related to the early warning and prevention of identity-based political violence.
United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Washington, DC. (2009)
Contract awarded for educational program design and implementation for conflict early warning analysts and department leaders from ECOWAS headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.
